The NM38741NR2 electromagnetic brake is an official original spare part from Konecranes, engineered exclusively for wire rope hoist lifting motors. It serves as the core safety locking component: when power supply is cut off, the brake instantly clamps the motor shaft to prevent load falling and eliminate crane operation hazards.

Equipped with upgraded 160Nm rated torque, this model fits heavier load hoist units compared to the 130Nm NM38751NR2 variant. The full assembly includes brake shell, electromagnetic coil assembly, high-strength friction disc, precision spline hub and pre-wired terminals, requiring no extra modification during installation.
